ways we are earning bonus bucks in our mini-society include:
·Mrs.
McHugh is handing out Mystery Pictures. Each child colors in graph squares
and there is a mystery picture under all that hard work!
·Mrs.
McHugh put out a South America work packet of math. Each child is getting
paid $3.00 or $5.00. It depends on how much of the work is completed.
All the students are working VERY hard on all of their math skills.
·
We can also do science recipes that are on the class website for bonus
bucks too. And we do our jobs and we get paid $5.00 each week!
Not only can we earn money, but we can lose money
too!
Greg
is the City Hall Clerk and we pay him the violations. You can get a violation
for not having a clean bin, walking around bare foot, forgetting gym shoes,
tattling, not being prepared for class, and if you are interrupting the
teacher.
It
is a
$1.00 fine per violation!
This
is the same thing as a REAL community!
1.Each
person gets paid money for doing their job.
2.You
can lose money for a violation (like getting a ticket from the police).
3.And
we all have responsibilities and we work together!
