Welcome to my homepage. I am Professor of Mathematics
in the Department
of Mathematics and Statistics at Oakland
University. I joined the faculty of Oakland University in 1997. I am
currently a member of the examination committee of the Michigan Mathematics Prize Competition (MMPC), a
post that I served previously from 2001 to 2005. I also served as the Director of MMPC from 2005 to 2008. MMPC is a state-wide competition
given every year to thousands of high school students in Michigan. I am
also a member of the editorial board and an associate editor of the
journal
Networks. Networks publishes material on the modelling of problems
using networks, the analysis of network problems, the design of
computationally efficient network algorithms, and innovative case
studies of successful network applications. I am on the editorial
board of The Open Operational
Research Journal. It is an open access online
journal, which publishes research articles, reviews, and letters in all areas
of operational research and management science.
In addition, I am the Director of
the
Oakland University Summer Mathematics Institute. This program
is completely free. To learn more about what I do,
