I was born in Lalitpur,
I was a PhD student of the world renowned scholar and researcher in statistical theory, Prof. C. Radhakrishna Rao , who was the (only statistics) PhD student of Sir R. A. Fisher, the father of Statistics.

It is also believed that my family is the direct descendent of Raja Todarmal, who was the chief statistician in the court of the Mogul king Akbar the Great.

· 5. Secretary (1987) and Vice president (1988) of Red River Valley Chapter of American Statistical Association.
· 6. Actively working on stopping the abuses of statistics/data and informing people about such misuses as well as about those doing bad science using data. As a typical instance, one of our own faculty member claiming to know statistics, measures the success rate of an instructor as 100 minus the nonsuccess rate, where all those dropouts students who without ever attending a single class or ever meeting the instructor withdrew (for whatever, personal or non personal reasons), are counted as the instructor's nonsuccesses. This is a typical example of using the wrong data. I attempt to point to people about such malpractices in statistics.

P. Khattri (of Banda, Uttar Pradesh, 1896-1985); He has translated the entire literature of Tulsi Das into English as poetry.
