Isle Royale is a wilderness island in the northern waters of Lake Superior. The island is inhabited by moose, wolves, red fox, otters, and occasionally people who want to slow down and rediscover the natural rhythm of life. Information about this piece of heaven can be found at Isle Royale National Park, or at this independent site, or at Isle Royale National Park, An Unofficial Page.

Good photographs of the island . . .
If you would like to see some photographs of the island, take a few moments to see some we took during our 1997 trip to the island.
